Since first meeting Khrystina a year ago, to meeting Jake a few months later I knew these two were meant for each other. Jake is the biggest fan of Khrystina, you could see in his eyes all day long that he was SO EXCITED to call her HIS WIFE. At the reception, he would tell anyone he saw “that’s my WIFE. ” It melted my heart.

Khrystina cares for Jake, physically seems to serve him and do for him in any way possible.   She planned the most beautiful wedding, with every little detail covered.  I hope you enjoy re-living their day through Josh and my eyes.  First up, Hair and makeup. In a true serving attitude, Khrystina did her little sisters makeup. She also did all her own, and her bridesmaids curled her hair.  The sense of love, and best friendship was so apparent in the getting ready room. Khrystina has been keeping this journal for a very long time. It’s filled with adorable notes, and letters and quotes. Josh says “there was one tear. It stayed right on the brim of his eye and didn’t fall, but it is safe to say he was in love with this gift.”Then it was off to the first look! They said traditional vows during the ceremony, but recited personal vows at their first look.  It was beautiful. Can we just take a second to talk about her bouquet!? Nelsons Flower Shop did an amazing job. It was BEAUTIFUL. One of our favorite parts of wedding days is making new friends and spending time with the people our Brides and Grooms have deemed the best of the best. This bridal party was no exception. Her bridesmaids were genuine and sweet. His groomsmen were… well, hilarious as usual. (Josh thinks he has the best job. “just bro-ing around with a camera” )I mean… This is how Josh does formals. Then we settled in to relax for a few minutes before ceremony time! Then it was time to get the party started! The reception was a short walk from the Church, and was decorated so well! I said to Josh multiple times how impressed I was! Khristina thought of every detail!They entered right into their first dance.

A mother daughter dance left no dry eyes in the place, including mine!A family member surprised them with a slideshow of their younger years! It started with laughter, and had a few happy tears in between. and wedding games!a box with a bunch of keys held the bouquet for the single ladies. They went through and tried keys one by one!And then the dancing started!We jumped out in the rain for a few last photos before heading off!

Jake and Khrystina, thank you so very much for trusting us with your special day. We’re so blessed to have met you and we know that your marriage will be just as beautiful as your wedding day.
