2015 was a great year at Jeanette Rowley Photography! We met so many new couples, made new friendships that will last a lifetime and photographed some beautiful engagements and weddings! We feel so blessed by what we do and how we get to spend our weekends.  Every wedding we photographed this year we came home, kicked off our shoes and remarked on how incredible the brides, grooms and their families were.  Here are some highlights from the year!You may remember Brett and Drew from their McConnells Mill’s Engagement Session.  Their wedding day was nothing short of perfect, with an incredible bridal party and beautiful reception. They even invited us over to the after party for some corn hole! Phil and Jill met up with me this year to do one year anniversary images! They were adorable, Phil is hilarious and Jill is his perfect counterpart! I met Andy and Deb at Brett and Drew’s wedding and fell instantly in love with them! Deb just had an adorable baby boy, and so we swapped stories about the perils of motherhood, while watching his older sister do cartwheels through a field! It was a great session, and I’m glad to have made a great friend in Deb!Kylea and Rodney had a beautiful wedding at my home church! They are two incredible people, and even during the cold and the rain their portraits are some of my favorite from the year!Bud and Kristen are new to the J&J Family! They are getting married in September of next year. Bud loves two things, Fishing and Kristen. It’s so apparent in the way they spend time together! I know their day will be full of love and laughs!Jake and Khrystina had a beautiful fall wedding. Khrystina is the perfect bride, and If you are looking for help with anything, she’s the lady to go to! During their first look, Jake couldn’t take his eyes off her. It wasn’t hard to see why though! They are crazy in love with each other and I know this love will stand the test of time. A huge highlight in 2015 was Josh’s best friend Evan getting married! Josh and I have known Evan for what seems like forever, he was a best man in our wedding! We spent years and years praying for Evan, and I remember telling him I couldn’t wait to meet his wife before she even was in the picture! Fast forward to the sweet Megan entering our lives and everything is perfect!  She is everything we could ever want for him and more! We did a few quick engagement photos for them, and opted to spend the wedding day with Josh as a groomsman and me as a guest and were SO happy with that! Jon and Halee are getting married in 2016.  One of the first things we always do after a couple inquires with us is talk to them on the phone to see if we are a good fit. It’s important to us that we can become friends, since other than you’re bridal party we are who spends the most time with you through your wedding day. Usually this conversation lasts about 20 minutes. Halee and I talked for over an hour! I knew we would be perfect for each other about 30 seconds into the conversation, and we hit it off so well that we’ve been chattering ever since! Jon is perfect for her, and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!Another huge highlight of 2015 is one of our very favorite couples, Steve and Rachel, announced they are having a little boy in January! Rachel messaged me right away and set up her baby plan! We’ve done maternity photos and her baby shower, and now I get to eagerly await the call that she’s in the hospital! These two had a beautiful wedding a few years ago that I photographed, and it’s been a dream to spend time with them again!Last but absolutely not least are Matt and Lorie.  They contacted us just weeks before their wedding and we were so happy to have the date open! We spent the day hanging keys on decoration trees, bustling dresses and arranging cookies, and loved every second of it! Matt’s love for Lorie is so beautiful and powerful. It was a tearful ceremony for me!
