We had the honor of being chosen as the photographers for Reade and Rebecca’s wedding last weekend. This was one of the most special weddings we have photographed for so many reasons. The first for me being that I have watched Rebecca grow up for years. She’s one of my sisters very best friends and I was so thrilled when she got engaged to Reade! When we met Reade for the first time, he was quiet and reserved. Since we’ve gotten to know him better those parts of him have given way to a fun, caring young man who is completely head over heels in love with Rebecca. This wedding was an amazing day, filled with a humble, servants love that will create a relationship that lasts a lifetime.
Rebecca’s rings were delicate and beautiful. They matched her perfectly.
They were married at Bethel Life right here in Greenville, PA. The newly remodeled sanctuary was a wonderful backdrop for their day.
Rebecca looked stunning in her wedding dress. There honestly wasn’t a dry eye in the room when she was ready to walk down the aisle.
I loved that they wrote their own vows. Earlier in the day, Rebecca was wandering around trying to find a quiet space to perfect them. They both had such heartfelt words for each other.
After the ceremony, there were some big hugs, some selfies and then it was on to the party! They had the reception at the beautiful Oak Tree Country Club. It was the perfect backdrop for the rest of their day. The room they provided was beautiful and the food was magnificent! (seriously. I went back for seconds on the veggies.) Her winter themed decorations were the perfect accent to the white and red tables.
Did I mention that my sister was a bridesmaid? All Rebecca’s girls were supportive and giving, running for her shawl or her flowers or anything she needed.
The hot chocolate bar was adorable and a great idea! It was super cold, but the cookies and hot chocolate made everything better.
Rebecca made her cake herself! Is it not the most beautiful thing!? I try to choose one image from the first dance but I just couldn’t this time! Reade and Rebecca had a perfectly planned dance number for us, and it was beautiful!
After toasts and cake cutting it was finally time for dancing! This group of people got on the dance floor immediately and stayed until the night was over.
Also, Because Rebecca is the sweetest human and my sister is one of her best friends, My parents were invited and they brought Kristen!! That was a blast, seeing her run around with Miss Kris, and “big Kristen” and “miss becca”
At one point they created a dance circle! It was the most fun thing ever!
Yay! Jaclyn’s next!
All in all, Reade and Rebecca’s day really one of the most magical days we’ve seen. They love each other so selflessly and I can’t wait to watch them grow as a couple.
Reade and Rebecca, Thank you for the honor of documenting your first day as Husband and Wife. It was truly an honor.
