Bud and Kristen were married on one of the most beautiful days of the summer. The sun was shining all through the ceremony and the portraits, and eventually the weather gave way to a really intense storm! There were so many perfect details. Kristen is a crafter and so creative! She is also so incredibly beautiful, not only on the outside but also she is kind, and compassionate and SO in love with Bud.
Kristen’s girls where really what every bride wants on her wedding day. They loved her, and loved bud and put forth 110% effort to make sure the day went smoothly. They really served the couple in a selfless manner, Josh and I were seriously impressed by them!
Everyone will view a wedding day differently, but for us, the underlying message in the entire day was kindness. Kristen is fun, spunky and knows how to enjoy herself, but when I think of Kristen I think quiet kindness. All through the day we caught her doing tiny things, untangling tiny necklaces, a brush on the shoulder of her sister, flowers for their mothers, the list goes on.
Bud really has become one of my favorite people. He’s unapologetically himself. He knows what he loves and he treasures those things. I think the most obvious love of Bud is Kristen. In the best man’s speech he was described as “the man who walks on the streetside of the sidewalk” He is chivalrous and caring.
Their wedding was held at the beautiful Harbison Chapel in Grove City PA. It was perfect for them!
Bud and Kristen’s Portrait time was beautiful. They really lived their day in the moment and enjoyed every second of it! Speaking of caring, Bud and Kristen organized a special balloon send off for a special little boy they lost two years ago. It was such a touching moment.
You wouldn’t know it to look at these images, but the storm outside was really intense! The power was actually going out multiple times during theses dances! Then it was time to party!
Bud + Kristen, in all honestly we felt blessed to be part of your wedding day. We have no doubt that you will be the couple that makes it 100 years. Congratulations!
