Doug and April had the most amazing wedding, the only thing more beautiful was the love that surrounded them during the day! I know that sounds so cliche but it was so true. If you ever have the chance to ask them about their story, do it! We loved getting to know them and serving Doug and April on their wedding day! The wedding took place at the barn at Lake Latonka. It was the perfect location! It was fun and open during the day, and sparkle-y and pretty at night! 

April incorporated such amazing details into her day. Every single piece was well thought out and meaningful, from the memorial candles for their fathers, to wearing her mothers dress. Everything was perfect.

April sang “the keeper of the stars” on her way down the aisle to Doug. It was so special and she did amazing. There was not a dry eye in the place. (including Josh’s!)

They chose to write their own vows, and they were beautiful.

Shooting a wedding outdoors at night was probably one of the most fun things we will get to do all summer.  We’re so thankful to April and Doug for putting on such a gorgeous wedding! It reflected their love for each other so well.

After the ceremony, it was right up to the loft of the barn for party time!

April made all of her own food and deserts! She had so many different kinds of cupcakes and insisted we leave with an entire box of them so we could try every flavor. The guests raved about how good they were and loved every detail that she put into the reception!

April and Doug, Thank you so much for inviting us to spend your day with you. We are so happy to have become friends with you and we know there will be many many more years of happiness to come.
