Elise came into the studio giggling. We had both been planning this epic session for months and the weather was making us nervous, band camp was making our time crazy and we wanted to drive to Pittsburgh! Somehow, everything went perfectly. Lindsay did her hair and makeup and it matched her personality flawlessly. We drove and dropped off my girlies with their best friends who live near where we were shooting. The light was SO GOOD, and Elise planned her outfits so well! I’ve always wanted to shoot on the top of a parking garage in the city, and Elise was game for whatever I had in mind!
We headed off to the art district in Pittsburgh for some more photos, Elise told me that she always wanted her portraits made there but “didn’t mind if we didn’t get to it” so of course we stopped to take some. We were literally racing against the sunset, because we wanted to end at point place park, and shoot by the fountain.
There happened to be some sort of fair that day in the park, so we got senior portraits with a farris wheel! How fun is that?
We made it to the point right as the sun was going across the horizon. It was a beautiful sight!
We called it a wrap and started to walk back to the car. I’m not completely sure how many times I said “oh! last one I promise!”
Elise, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful heart with me and enduring my “just one more” photos through this entire experience! You’re truly a joy to work with and I know you’ll do incredible things in your future!
