Jon is a fire-fighter, Halee was helping at a call he was on, and the rest is history. If their jobs don’t say enough about them, the way they treat people do. They are kind, gracious, loving people with servants hearts. My kind of people.  We met up with them early Saturday morning on a cold rainy day to begin their wedding day together.  Family and friends surrounded them as they prepared for the ceremony, everyone with a kind caring attitude. Usually I get to see the dress before hand doing detail shots, but Josh had taken over that for this day, so when I saw Halee in her dress I was almost speechless. It was absolutely beautiful on her! 

After we got ready, we were able to jump outside for some formal images, it was about 15 degrees windchill, but it wasn’t raining and the girls were amazing! I loved these long dresses Halee chose for her girls, and the sunflowers were perfect!

Then it was time for the ceremony, the most adorable little flower girls and ring bearer started us off.

And they were married! Just like that, the day everyone had been waiting for.

After an amazing set of portraits together, we headed over to yankee lake ballroom for the reception!

How cute are these popcorn favors!? They thought out every detail.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Cookie tables are my FAVORITE tradition. Seeing how many people come together and show their love to you by the simple act of baking some cookies. I think it’s beautiful. (not to mention, then I get to nibble on cookies all night!) The cake cutting was adorable, and also hilarious.  Then it was time for dancing! This group was amazing and had the dance floor filled the whole night! 

Jon + Halee, You two are a true testament to what it means to be giving.  Your wedding day was beautiful and perfect, and your marriage will be too <3
