July was such a fun month! We enjoyed baby H’s second month of life, spent some intentional time as a family, photographed some amazing couples and really enjoyed the summer weather!  Here are some of the highlights of the month. Enjoy!

H did a lot of sleeping, and now that I’m not pregnant any more, I had some renewed energy to do fun things with the girls like bake (and eat) cookies!

Although Josh and I put a ton of effort into being intentional with our days while working from home, there are some downsides to that lifestyle. We’re seeing the effects in K in good ways and sad ways. She sits beside my desk while I work and “takes notes” for me about my to do list! It’s adorable. She also will tell me straight that she has “a sad attitude” because she wants me to play with her. That breaks my momma heart. We try to make sure only one of us is working at a time though, so Josh gets some great snuggle time in with his girls! I love watching him love them. I pray they will grow up and marry men like their father. He is such a blessing to his girls.

Tender moments between J & H are common. J has a big personality, but is also so sweet and caring. When H cries, she’s the first one to her side.

This month E decided to take a dive off a picnic table. She probably didn’t need to go to the ER, but this momma was a bit nervous about the amount of blood and we rushed her there anyways. She charmed all the nurses with her “nooo” and her daddy found her that cool balloon to play with!

In business news, we got a giant sign for the studio! We’ve been called “Josh & Jeanette, From the sign” and that cracks us up! We feel so blessed that the studio is starting to become more of a full time workplace for us!

We had some troubles with H that really took a toll on all of us emotionally and physically, but we are on the other side of that mountain now and although she wasn’t able to nurse like the other three she’s eating like a champ. We prayed daily for her to grow “big and strong” and she is!

We also learned about funny faces this month! Super fun!

Max is growing to be a great addition to the family! He still loves to chew everything, and he likes to be outside (which is still strange to me, I feel like all dogs should be on my lap at all times.) but he’s such a sweet dog! He will grow to be a good best friend to the girls, and a great protector! (If he ever stops barooooing and learns to bark like a real dog. ha!)

While we’ve hit and then exceeded our goals for number of weddings for 2016, (whoohoo!!) we also hit a bit of a growing pains era in July. We got all our systems down and in place, and once that was running smoothly we were able to take a full beach/mall day with the family! It was a blast!

H had her first “social smile” this month! I’m so so happy I was the one to see it!

We joke with E a lot that she just sleeps, eats and sleeps. ha!  We made it to the Church League Softball tournament (which Josh’s team took second place in yay!) and had a great time with that!

We headed off to Mahaffey Church Camp for a day to spend some time with our family. It’s one of my favorite places in the whole world!

My cousin Kyle got hustled by some little kids selling bracelets, and K and I did some worship at the youth tab=]

I asked the girls to smile, Grandpap told them to stick out their tongues, and E was totally done with the whole day.

All in all, it was a great month and we’re all pretty tired after it! August is looking to be even more hectic, but we will try our best to enjoy every moment and I encourage you to enjoy it too!
