Today, May the 4th two years ago Steven and Rachel got married. There was no JRP blog then, so it only seems fitting that they would get today’s feature. Steven and Rachel are an incredible couple, enjoy their wedding day!
Weddings are all about moments, and emotions. This image will go down in history for me as a favorite, because this is exactly how every person in the room getting ready felt. So much joy for this couple! No stress, just tons of love.
Rachel did a “daddy first look” that would make even the most stoic of wedding photographers shed a tear. So I obviously was a blubbering mess. Her dad’s face!
I’ve been so blessed in the past few years to attract couples who put God at the center of their marriage. praying before the ceremony begins is so incredible to see!
This is the face you’ll see on Steven 95% of the time. He’s always laughing, and always head over heels in love with Rachel.
Their fist kiss was magical, this is still one of my favorite images to date.
Rachel and Steven’s Families came together seamlessly to support them on their wedding day. It was one of the kindest and happiest groups of people I’ve had the pleasure to meet!
Her cake. She told me at one point “I don’t care if we miss every other image. I need a photo of my cake. Once I saw it I knew why instantly! What a beautiful work of art! Clarencedale Cakes did a great job!
After my contracted time was done, these lovely people and their family invited me to stay and sit around with them. We talked and laughed and built upon a friendship that would last for years.
Steven and Rachel, thank you so much for choosing me to document your wedding day. Thank you for being incredible human beings, and thank you for loving each other so much! Congratulations on two years, and here’s to a hundred more!
