Oh my gosh, how to even blog about Chris + Anna. We met Chris and Anna when we were in Colorado photographnig Tyler and Katelyn’s wedding! Anna was in Katelyns bridal party and we bonded over our love of pittsburgh, and our mutual love of cool breweries. We hugged and parted as friends, and then a few weeks later we got an email from Anna asking “would you be our wedding photographers?” Obviously the answer was yes and the rest is history! Anna got ready at her mothers house, which was the most Pittsburgh house you could ever see. It was an old carriage house and had huge ceilings and amazing light!

There was a tree in the back yard of her parents house that her mom had taken first day of school photos in front of her entire life. When her mom told me that story I knew I had to get an image of her in her wedding gown! ( isn’t she GORGEOUS!)

They got married in the same church that Anna’s parents got married in. That was so so special!

After the ceremony, we headed to pnc park ( Chris LOVES PNC Park!) for some bridal party portraits. In true Pittsburgh fashion, there were a few parades and events going on and we were focusing on making sure we got amazing images but were back in time for cocktail hour! Chris and Anna’s bridal party stepped up majorly and we got all their images in just under 20 minutes! After the bridal party returned to the party bus, Anna and Chris had a few minutes for images of just them and it was magical. Their love was tangible and Chris was SO happy to be in that moment, with Anna.

They had their reception at a brand new venue, the WBU event venue The place was perfect (and attached to a brewery!) and fit their vibe perfectly.

We ended the night with a jam session and Chris and Anna just enjoying their favorite people outside. It could not have been a better mix of Pittsburgh elegance and outdoor party.

Chris and Anna, we are so thankful you chose us to spend this day with you! Here’s to 100 more years!
