Danica and I met in a McDonald’s for coffee about a year ago. Instead of the 20/30 minute interview to become a part of the model team, her mom, her and I spent a few hours talking and laughing and planning for her dream senior portrait session. I knew then that we would be fast friends. Fast forward to last week. We met at the studio for hair and makeup by the fabulous Lindsay, and loved all of it! Danica is a natural beauty, and those curls just made these photos!  Danica played fast pitch softball for a while, and wanted to incorporate that into her session. I think it ended up amazing!
We checked in at her place for a few images with her chalk board art, and then drove to Danica’s exclusive location, SUNFLOWER FIELD!  Jake is a 2016 senior at reynolds, (woot! shoutout to reynolds!) and walked with Danica through her whole experience.  I loved getting to know him!She had other shoes for this, but decided to go with the red converse. I think it was an amazing choice, it really shows her personality! Gorgeous with a tiny bit of spunk! Danica was a sport through all the fun new stuff I wanted to try, and I couldn’t be happier!  After this image, the sun was pretty much gone, so in true ultimate session fashion, we decided to meet up the next morning for straight hair and a new location. Danica led me through some priklers ( thorn bushes) to this cute little bridge in our town. I have to say I’m in love with it! I love hidden spots like this that only locals know about! This photo. It’s my favorite and that’s all I can say. She’s so amazing! Look at that amazing morning light! I about lost it when I saw these images. Her blonde hair just made it even more perfect! Danica, Thank you so much for choosing me to walk through senior year with you. I can’t wait until your fall and winter sessions, and to see you grow into the amazing young woman you are!
