What a week.
Have you seen that tik tok? The one that says “whoo! what a week!” then someone else responds with “It’s Tuesday…” That’s totally how I felt this week. (side bar: should I be admitting how much time I spend on tik tok on the blog? Who knows.)
We got back at it with homeschooling, I took down all the Christmas stuff. The tree is still hanging on because Josh need to take it to the barn. Maybe I’ll bug him about that tonight. He loves it when I bug him.
It’s cold but not snowing, which is unacceptable.
We are hunkering down and enjoying the slow season all while watching the country and praying for our leaders. It’s a bit emotionally tiring but I’ve never been more thankful for the community we live in and how they show up for the people in front of them regardless of politics.
Exciting projects are happening all over The Farm. The cottage loft is being renovated, the eaves are being put up in the pavilion. The farmhouse has gotten a few small but exciting updates as well. (Like an under the sink cabinet and walls being torn down!)
Overall we’re just feeling thankful. There is a lot to do and now there is finally some time to do it. 2021 will be an amazing year. I just know it.
